Opening of the Villeroy & Boch World is planned for January 2025.
You can find the opening hours of the Villeroy & Boch World and the outlet on the Prices & Opening Hours page. Last admission to the Villeroy & Boch World is one hour before it closes.
Over 100 free car parking spaces are available for visitors directly in front of the building. Charging stations for electric cars and bicycle parking facilities are also available. Coaches can stop for short periods at the bus stop on the Villeroy & Boch World grounds. Buses and campervans can be parked in nearby public car parks.
The Villeroy & Boch World is a great place to visit in any weather. An exhibition area of over 2,000 square metres and varied presentations invite you to step into the world of Villeroy & Boch and explore all the facets of the company. The outlet on the ground floor of the building also offers an ideal opportunity to browse and shop in an area of over 900 square metres.
- Our exhibition has a lot for children to explore and discover. School classes are also very welcome. For school outings or class trips, please use our group enquiry form.
- We offer a special admission price for families with a family ticket valid for 2 adults and 2 children. You can book your family ticket from January 2025 very conveniently online to avoid waiting at the ticket desks on site. Admission is free for children up to and including 6 years of age.
- An attractive play area can be found in Mettlach town centre which is a short walk away through the Abbey park.
- Lifts are available for easy access to the Villeroy & Boch World with a pram. An accessible toilet with baby changing facilities is also available.
About your visit
To explore every space at your leisure and make the most of the experience, it is a good idea to allow around 2 hours for your visit. We recommend planning a little more time to browse the 900-square-metre outlet on the ground floor of the Villeroy & Boch World or to visit our Abbey Park.
The Villeroy & Boch World is available in German, English and French.
- Our exhibition is intuitive and designed to be self-explanatory to allow you to explore the presentations at your own pace. We therefore do not offer an audio guide or guided tours.
- Tours for visitors with visual impairments can be booked on request. Please use our contact form to enquire.

No smoking whatsoever is permitted in the building of the Villeroy & Boch World. Visitors may smoke only in designated and clearly marked outdoor areas.

The Villeroy & Boch World and the outlet are easily accessible. Visitors with restricted mobility, who use a wheelchair or have a pram can access the Villeroy & Boch World easily using the lifts. An accessible toilet is also available.

Outlet shopping in Mettlach
The Villeroy & Boch Outlet with a surface area of over 900 square metres is located in the Villeroy & Boch World building and can be accessed without stairs.

- From January 2025, you can purchase your ticket on site or conveniently in our online ticket shop. The online ticket gives you direct access to the Villeroy & Boch World – with no need to wait at the ticket desk.

If you would like to purchase a visit to the Villeroy & Boch World as a gift, you can buy tickets on site or online in our ticket shop from January 2025. We do not offer special gift vouchers.

- The Villeroy & Boch La Cuisine is a modern culinary studio with an exceptional atmosphere. It is located in the vaulted cellar of the Old Abbey in Mettlach.
- Cookery lessons in La Cuisine can be booked directly in the La Cuisine Online Shop buchen.

- The nearby Saareck Castle offers lovingly designed rooms in a stylish castle atmosphere on the other side of the Saar just 5 minutes’ drive away.
